EOS Trucking is a growing, family-owned transportation company specializing in both dry van and refrigerated freight. With a strong focus on reliability, safety, and customer service, we take pride in supporting our drivers and staff with the tools they need to succeed. We are currently looking for an experienced and energetic Fleet Dispatcher to manage and coordinate our dry van and reefer operations.

Position Overview:

As a Fleet Dispatcher, you’ll be responsible for managing a fleet of up to 60 company drivers and/or owner-operators, ensuring loads are picked up and delivered on time while maintaining driver efficiency, safety, and compliance. This is a key role in keeping freight moving and customers satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and manage drivers operating dry van and reefer units across regional and/or OTR lanes
• Monitor load status and provide updates to customers and internal teams
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, delays, and issues
• Track and manage hours of service (HOS) compliance and ELD data
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment road-ready
• Build and maintain relationships with drivers, customers, and brokers
• Troubleshoot load or route issues quickly and effectively
• Ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and proper temperature control for reefer loads

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of dispatch experience in the trucking industry (dry van and reefer preferred)
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
• Experience with dispatching software, ELDs, and TMS systems
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems on the fly
• Team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency
• High school diploma or GED required; logistics or transportation degree is a plus
