Job Description

Entertainment Lead (Houston Market) – Weddings Unlimited

Weddings Unlimited is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Entertainment Lead and Wedding DJ/Emcee to oversee event readiness, equipment operations, and team alignment across the Houston market, while supporting company-wide operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Event & Equipment Alignment

  • Review and verify all assigned events to ensuring DJs and attendants have the correct gear, add-ons, and configurations
  • Ensure company equipment is properly allocated across events to prevent shortages or conflicts
  • Identify and resolve gaps in equipment, logistics, or event readiness before event day

Multi-Market Oversight

  • Verify add-on availability across all markets for each booking
  • Travel to each market twice per year to conduct inventory audits and meet with local market representatives

Houston Market Ownership

  • Manage purchase orders for the Houston market
  • Oversee equipment distribution, organization, and readiness locally
  • Report and repair broken or malfunctioning equipment
  • Maintain general care and upkeep of company assets

Events & Execution Support

  • Lead pack-out, setup, breakdown, and pack-in for all Texas bridal shows
  • Support operational execution across weddings, open houses, and company events as needed

Work Location & Schedule

  • Work in-office 3 days per week (minimum 24 hours), at our Houston office
  • Required to complete 100 event days per calendar year as Wedding DJ/Emcee, including:
  • 5–15 Open House Days
  • 10–12 Bridal Show Days
  • 75–80 Wedding/Event Days
  • May be required to transfer equipment between markets at management’s discretion
  • Event days include weddings, open houses, bridal shows, and other company events
  • Work hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules and business needs

  • Comfortable owning problems and solving them without being told
  • Able to manage moving pieces across multiple events and markets
  • Willing to travel and work weekends as needed
  • Experience in events, production, logistics, or similar industries is a plus

Compensation & Structure

  • $750/week base compensation
  • Additional earning opportunities through events, bonuses, and performance incentives
