Our client, a boutique hotel outside of Seattle, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join their team!

POSITION: Housekeeping Manager

LOCATION: Seattle, Washington

COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $70,000 (non-exempt)

Overview

A refined boutique hospitality property is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to oversee the day-to-day presentation and upkeep of the guest experience. This role blends leadership with execution—ideal for someone who takes pride in detail, enjoys cultivating a high-performing team, and thrives in an intimate, design-forward environment where consistency and care are paramount.

The Opportunity

You will serve as the steward of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation across all guest spaces, ensuring every room reflects the property’s elevated standards. This individual will lead a small, dedicated team while implementing thoughtful systems and processes that support both efficiency and a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Presentation

  • Uphold impeccable room standards, ensuring each space is guest-ready and visually aligned with the property’s aesthetic
  • Conduct detailed room reviews, proactively identifying and resolving any inconsistencies
  • Partner closely with front-of-house and facilities teams to ensure a seamless guest journey

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a tight-knit housekeeping team with a focus on accountability and pride in execution
  • Set clear expectations and foster a collaborative, positive work environment
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily workflow planning, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity
  • Adapt staffing and priorities in response to occupancy and guest needs
  • Maintain strong communication across departments to support smooth daily operations

Inventory & Vendor Coordination

  • Curate and manage inventory levels for linens, cleaning materials, and guest amenities
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and consistent supply of high-quality products
  • Monitor usage and maintain well-organized storage and supply areas

Process & Systems

  • Implement and refine operational systems that enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Maintain digital checklists, reporting, and internal tracking tools
  • Identify opportunities to elevate workflow, reduce inefficiencies, and support long-term scalability

Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience within housekeeping or hospitality operations (boutique or luxury environment preferred)
  • Strong eye for detail and commitment to elevated service standards
  • Experience managing schedules, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity alongside the team
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and calm in a dynamic environment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
