Job Description
Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry located in South Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking a Pattern Maker to join our team. In this role you will repair and recondition a variety of patterns, core boxes and other related components.
Some of the benefits for this position include a shift differential, overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks' vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
- Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
- Repair and recondition a variety of worn and damaged patterns, core boxes and other related components
- Set up and operate all metal working equipment such as milling machines, lathes and drill presses
- Make build-ups or fabricate patterns, core boxes and permanent molds made of various materials
- Observe all company rules and regulations
Who You Are: - You focus on safety and quality with the ability to work collaborate with the team.
For This Role, You Will Need: - Journeyman Pattern Maker certification or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Computer literate
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs
