Legacy Commercial Property is a rapidly growing, full-service commercial real estate company specializing in leasing, acquisitions, development, construction and property management of retail centers. The Company portfolio consists of 700+ retail properties and over 6M square feet spread across 20+ states. The national footprint allows retail tenant partners and Highland Venture brands to leverage multiple properties to fulfill their expansion needs and the Legacy development team assists partners in locating and developing new sites. Legacy is focused on growing the commercial real estate portfolio through the strategic acquisition of retail and office space.

Role Summary

As a member of the Design and Construction team you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the development process. Candidates that enjoy problem solving and are interested in growing professionally will fit in well with our company and the culture.

About the Position

We are seeking a project architect who will assist in schematic design drawings, architectural site plans, full construction drawings, coordinating with engineers, verifying existing conditions, as-built drawings, site investigation reports, etc. Although not required, this experience would provide an ideal opportunity for a candidate seeking Architectural licensure.

Expectations

• Production of Construction Drawings
• Architectural Site Plans
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Understanding of Model Code Requirements
• Strong Coordination / Communication Skills
• Complete Site Investigation Reports for a variety of projects
• Ability to travel to pre-construction & construction sites
• 5+ years of experience in an architecture role
• Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, preferred from an accredited program
• Pursuing licensure or licensed (a plus)

Position type and expected hours of work

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Brentwood, TN. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
