What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a category-leading consumer products organization to identify a Trade Strategy & Pricing Leader to drive national pricing, trade promotion, and customer investment strategy for a flagship brand portfolio. This highly visible role sits at the center of commercial strategy, leveraging data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize revenue, profitability, and return on trade spend. You will play a critical role in transforming trade capabilities, influencing senior stakeholders, and building best-in-class processes that elevate organizational performance. Responsibilities:

  • Lead national pricing and trade promotion strategy, translating brand and channel objectives into actionable, high-impact commercial plans
  • Own the end-to-end trade planning cycle, including budget allocation, trade rate setting, governance, and execution frameworks
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Finance to develop customer-level strategies that drive growth and profitability
  • Build and deploy trade management systems, tools, and processes to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and organizational capability
  • Leverage advanced analytics and insights to evaluate performance, optimize trade spend, and deliver clear recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods across Pricing, Revenue Growth Management, Trade, Sales, or Marketing (Master’s preferred)
  • Proven expertise in trade spend management across key channels (grocery, mass, club, and/or e-commerce)
  • Strong analytical skill set, including experience with tools and methodologies such as ROI modeling, simulation analysis, and financial evaluation
  • Experience leveraging syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI/Circana) to drive insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment
